March in California! Asparagus is in season!
I’m not a huge fan of asparagus but I do enjoy the occasional asparagus.
One of my favorite ways to eat asparagus is a simple recipe that combines asparagus, shaved parmesan, and truffle oil!
Although truffle oil is pretty pricey, about 20 bucks a bottle. It is pretty damn worth it. Just make sure you don’t open it and leave it for a long time because the smell and flavor slowly disappear as time passes by.
Grill or roast the asparagus in the oven with some salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Shave real parmesan cheese over the asparagus with a peeler so you get pretty long strips of cheese on top, and lightly drizzle the truffle oil over the asparagus! Nice and simple!
